With deeply honest storytelling, lush vocal harmonies and timeless melodies John Flanagan & the Begin Agains have drawn comparisons to Alison Krauss, James Taylor and Gillian Welch. They combine old-time/bluegrass instrumentation with contemporary influences bringing a fresh new sound to the Australian folk scene. They have stirred the hearts of festival audiences around Australia and the US including Port Fairy and Woodford Folk Festivals and the Americana Music Conference in Nashville.
