Over 150 entries were received in the Darebin Music Feast Songwriters Award this year. The Songwriters Award Grand Final will see our 10 finalists perform for our esteemed judging panel at Northcote Town Hall on Sunday 19 October.

Who will take out the trophy and prize package including $2000 cash thanks to APRA, studio time at Head Gap, mastering at Indie Masters, duplication services from Implant, Guitar World voucher, a ticket to Face the Music and a Beat Ad?

Darebin Music Feast Songwriters’ Award Grand Final is an afternoon of the great songwriting talent that has made Darebin the heart of Melbourne’s music scene. Past winners of the Award include Jordie Lane, Sal Kimber & Ben Mason. Hosted by writer, musician and man about town Ben Birchall and featuring special guest performances from 2013 winner Dan Flynn and 2006 & 2009 youth winner Rosie Hilder.
