Celebrate Bohemian Nights 20th birthday! Ernie Gruner and Phil Carroll play European, Gypsy, Klezmer, Turkish music and more. Wild to soulful singing, violin, accordion, mandolin, ney. Special guests Rosa Voto (Tarantella dance & vocals) and Ron Hansen (double-bass, Klezmeritis). Bohemian Nights has played festivals around Australia and New Zealand, and studied overseas in Montreal, Istanbul, New York, Cracow and Budapest. Their most recent album is Brothers in Borscht. Recently their 7th NZ tour included the 50th Wellington Folk Festival. ‘Accordion Fiddle Fire’ – Fairbridge Festival, WA. ‘Loads of enthusiasm, brilliant musicality’ – Wellington Folk Festival, NZ. ‘Imagine 1930s Paris café’ – Wyreena Arts Centre.
