Alt-folk Melbourne artists Brooke Taylor and Delsinki Records (Craig Johnston) have combined talents, releasing their debut EP Love One boasting a collection of season- inspired tracks that follow the narrative of a romantic struggle.
It is a unique collaboration of catchy light melodies and strong storytelling that demonstrates Taylor and Johnston’s songwriting finesse. From the upbeat breezy sounds of opening track Spring (Swim Against The Tide) through to the haunting marching beat of the broken heart in Winter (From The Ashes), this is a poetic arrangement designed to be listened to as a piece.
