Friday 4 November @ 9pm
303 – 303 High St, Northcote
Spawned in the mist of Cuban cigars and honey, LADYSLUG are a bathtub of neo-soul and RnB, with enough jazz to take home to your mother. LADYSLUG, hailing from Lismore/Byron Bay, NSW, will melt you down with killer vocals and curious harmony, drizzling just the right amount of jazz onto some pulsing RnB. Supporting acts: DOMINIQUES started as an ironic update of trashy 1960s pop, but by the end of the beginning they had found their sound in new wave rock. The 5 members have come together from all corners of Australia and formed in Lismore NSW, finding influence in Nick Cave, Blondie, and The Cure. DOMINIQUES have established a solid fan base in and between the Northern rivers and Brisbane, supporting the likes of JJJ fave’s Moses Gunn Collective, Nocturnal Tapes, and Sydney rockers Lepers and Crooks. THE BELLOWS is the brain child of Isabelle Hungerford. These sounds manifest through her with the help of a few dear and talented friends. Born in the Blue Mountains, developed on the North Coast and shaped by many travels. Be prepared to pull your grimiest, soulful moves at this Darebin Music Feast event at 303.
