Melbourne’s renowned Crate Digger Record Fair, is returning to the northern suburbs for a special event as part of Darebin Music Feast on Saturday 21st October. Located onsite at Preston Market, this is becoming home turf for Crate Digger and its team of record-nerd stallholders.
With a room full of stalls offering vinyl junkies a range of records spanning all genres including rock, pop, indie, punk, prog, blues, jazz, doo wop, garage, soul, funk, folk, metal, soundtracks and more, there is something for everyone. Sellers range from folks selling their personal collection through to serious dealers trading in records old and new from around the world. You won’t find much in the way of Jim Nabors, Kamahl or polka records kicking around here – just stuff you actually wanna buy. Whether you are a hardcore collector or are new to the world of vinyl, you will find yourself leaving the Crate Digger Record Fair with a clutch of records to cherish forever. And you can get your weekly grocery shop sorted at the same time too.
Easily accessible by public transport (Preston railway station / Plenty Rd Tram) and with plenty of parking available, Preston Market is an ideal location for a record fair.
