Rat Child

Thursday 12 October
6pm – 8pm
Wesley Anne
– 250 High St, Northcote

Line

Rat Child is a Melbourne-based singer, composer, activist and ratbag. Her rattle-brained style of quasi-jazz and her part-personal-part-political storytelling is musically melded into a soulful sound that floats somewhere up in the ether between rhythm and blues. She has jived and jammed with some of Melbourne’s finest as a member of the ‘The Core-tet’ (House band of ‘Momentum’ presented by Foreign Brothers) and has been spotted scurrying around the stages of Strawberry Fields Festival, Melbourne Music Week and the Sydney Road Festival.
