Tago Mago’s Closing Night Party Featuring Riflebirds + Cold Irons Bound

Sunday 22 October
7pm – 10pm
Tago Mago
– 744 High St, Thornbury

Lineruthhazelton

Prolific Melbourne five-piece Riflebirds have had a mammoth 12 months, bringing their rock, southern and psychedelic sounds to a slew of festivals and bars across the land. Two albums in as many years was followed up by a new single earlier this year, ‘Plastic Rock’n’Roller’, which had You Am I’s Davey Lane along for the ride, supporting at the launch party. The albums – World Feels Wide (2016) and Detours & Collisions (2015) – have led the band to play at venues across Australia and seen them share stages with the likes of Ron Peno (Died Pretty), Dallas Crane, Dan Brodie and Freya Josephine Hollick. Recent festival appearances include Spring Fling, Leaps & Bounds, and the Ballarat Beer Festival. They return to Tago Mago for the first time in four years for this special two-set, high energy show.
