Linehoundlings

The Houndlings are a Melbourne-based, female-fronted blues band with a set list full of the greats – Etta, Elvis, Tina, Tom, Ruth, Ray and Wanda. Their line-up includes Anthony Shortte (Collard Greens and Gravy) on drums, Michelle Brisbane on guitar, Kate Clarke on bass and Georgie Ross on vocals.

Dan Dinnen is a blues singer/songwriter, harmonica player and guitar finger-picker. His original tunes include smoking ballads, country-blues ditties and juke joint boogies. With his old-time blues feel and style, yet a wholly individual voice and sound, Dan was the 2016 MBAS Blues Performer of the Year (Solo/Duo Category). He’s also a Chain Award winner (Group of the Year 2016 for his work as lead vocalist and harp player with Greg Dodd & The Hoodoo Men). Dan has teamed up for some grooving duo gigs with drummer/percussionist Anthony Shortte – best known for his work with ARIA award winning blues act Collard Greens and Gravy.
