Elza is a French singer living in Melbourne. As well as singing her own original songs, she interprets old-time classics of Serge Gainsbourg, Jacques Brel and contemporary singers such as Zaz and Thomas Fersen. Elza is influenced by French chansons, Yé Yé (French pop from the 1960s) and contemporary French gypsy jazz.  Based in Melbourne, Floyd Thursby sings original folk and country tunes echoing the song writing of Cohen, Cave, Waits and Cash. As lead singer of critically-acclaimed jazz manouche ensemble La Mauvaise Réputation he also performs classic French chanson of timeless performers such as Serge Gainsbourg.
