Influenced by the sounds of young Jamaica, Melbourne’s own Tallawah Hi-Fi has set up a traditional custom hand built styled Reggae & Dub sound system. Playing sounds such as Rocksteady, Reggae, Roots, Dub and Steppa, Tallawah takes you through a journey of Jamaican music. Tallawah consists of Marcus and Jack, two friends who share the same interests and passion.
Marcus is Australia’s youngest and freshest sound system operator and selector. Influenced through sounds such as Melbourne’s own Heartical Hi Powa & Higher Region, as well as UK sounds like Jah Shaka & Channel One, Marcus focuses on up full vibes and inspiring the next generation.
Jack is Tallawah’s Selector, Boxman and family member. With a wide selection of tunes and knowledge, Jack is one of Melbourne’s Reggae vinyl collectors. With a vast selection of rare gems and classic hits, Jack is bound to make you shake a leg and have a good time.
