Formed in 2015, The Bone Folders are now regulars in Darebin’s live music scene, and The Thornbury Local is one of their beloved haunts. The band recently attracted international social media attention after covering The Smithereens’ classic ‘Behind the Wall of Sleep’. Best described as poetic pub-rock, with elements of power pop and country, The Bone Folders offer local lyrical flavour. Their songs are about Melbourne’s weather, inner-suburban characters, regional towns and even the offspring of medieval executioners.

They will be supported by Crumb, a four-piece Melbourne outfit who deliver sassy rock ‘n’ roll with a gritty ‘70s punk flair; and the irrepressible Deadly Apple-Johns, whose dulcet tones will have you thinking about love, death, cowboys and Carlton.
